Neuro has a murder mystery to solve! Can you find out who or what stands behind the case? Made in 72 hours for the second birthday of the AI Vtuber Neuro-sama. The theme is: Remnants of the Past.

If you notice slowdowns with the web version, or audio issues (especially music-related), try the downloadable versions.

Tutorial: This is a point-and-click adventure game. Click with the left mouse button on things to interact with them. Your collected items are found under the box icon in the corner: click on the item, then click on something to use them together (right click to cancel). You can also right click or long press on an item to inspect it.

Here's is my third Neuro-themed game, this time with colored art! Unfortunately I haven't had time to add all the dialogs I planned, but it has the core storyline, and the game should be fully playable. I'm planning to release a post-jam version after the voting period with more content and bug fixes.

Some more info about the theme: I was a bit late with the submission, so in more detail (spoilers!): "How does your game fit/incorporate the theme of the game jam?": A past offer that could be taken by Vedal created an alternative timeline, now directly affecting our present day. This decision, and its consequences can be viewed as remnants of the past.

Install instructions

Jam note: There have been some (literally) last minute collision fixes, which are present in the web and Linux versions, but not in the Windows one because the upload broke halfway. Nothing game breaking though. I've added the matching fixed version after the jam.

  • Windows: Just extract and run.
  • Linux: Just extract and run. Ubuntu 20.04 or later recommended.

I always love your Neuro games and this one is no exception. Super cute art, loved Gorg and Morg too! A really fun and sweet story. I hope they play this on stream, it's delightful. Please keep making games! heart

Thank you for your kind words!
